Lauren began her dance career at the age of 2 1/2 at Connie Gardiner's School of Dance where she began attending conventions and competing at the State and National level. She later transferred to Delarue Dance Center in Lafayette where she continued to compete, perform in the Nutcracker and eventually graduate with 15 years of dancing. Lauren attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she was a member of the ULL Ragin Jazz dance team and then graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She has now been a school teacher for over 10 years and is currently teaching at Dozier Elementary in Erath. Lauren has been part of the Dance Connection staff for 15 years. She is supported by her loving husband and 2 beautiful daughters.
